Inspired by an accidental subscription to a Skillshare class taught by Emily Gould. Read her old blog here.
I’m thankful that today I had leftovers from a cancelled delivery yesterday. I’m thankful to the open container of barbeque sauce whose scent I can still smell washing over the smell of old roses from graduation. I’m thankful it’s not too hot this summer yet, that I can write with the window open and not feel sweat on my neck. I’m thankful the clock isn’t moving so quickly today. I’m thankful for the pepper battered Applebee’s chicken fingers and stale fries I refried in the pan before eating. I’m thankful for the two mozzarella sticks I had left over from last night’s late snacking.
Today I noticed a new ice cream truck tune. Today I noticed the DMV’s hold music.
Each day I’ll upload a post from the challenge involving the prompt “I’m thankful” or “I’m grateful” and “Today I noticed.” If you take up the challenge yourself, please share them with me! I would love to read and write together.
